I remember reading a devotional about "the eexchanged life". We should give Jesus Christ our life in response to His gift and in obedience to His call upon us. Rom. 12:1; Luke 9:24; 17:33.

Thank you, Jim. Your insight is valuable. We would like for people to know more but we need to guide them to where they meet the Lord. Sometimes that is a long process. Thank you again. Have a Merry Christmas!!

It's truly a wonderful and beautiful thing when we come to Him in our brokeness, asking for forgiveness and saying, "not my will but thine be done".

I had never thought about Elizabeth being an affirmation of what the Holy Spirit was doing in Mary's life but when you think about it, God always affirms what He is doiing in our lives as well. When He is leading us to do something, He is faithful to bring others along to affirm it and shore up our confidence in going forward with His purpose. How cool is that?

Thanks Jim for your reflections and words. Why are we surprised when disappointment or struggles come? His word told us not to be surprised(1 Peter 4:12). God's word encourages us as we face trials of many kinds. I am thankful he is able and is always with us at all times.
